One of the most popular endless runner games for mobile games, Subway Surfers, is getting another major update that takes players to another country. The folks over at Kiloo Games made a habit of providing content updates to their smash hit on all available platforms.

After taking players to Prague last month, Subway Surfers developers propose an exotic destination for players who can’t stop playing this game: Madagascar.

If you decide to take the journey, you will be able to explore the tropical rainforest and great valleys of the island of Subway.

In case you’re expecting the update to bring some new content like new characters, fresh boards, as well as new environments, you will be pleased to know that all these have been included in the latest version of the game, too.

For example, those who like to collect characters will be happy to know that they can now unlock one more. According to developers, Aina, the hip nature lover, can be added to your Subway crew, along with a new outfit.

Catch colorful butterflies to win Weekly Hunt prizes

But that's not all, as Kiloo Games confirmed that the update adds the flashy “Chameleon” board, which should allow players to soar through the nature environments. Players will be able to add this new board to their collections for the right amount of coins.

Last but not least, this time, players must now catch colorful butterflies in the subway if they want to win the Weekly Hunt prizes.

You can now download Subway Surfers for Android for free via Google Play Store. The title should be fully compatible with all smartphones powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.

For iOS users, the game is available for download for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on handsets running iOS 6.0 or later.

Last but not least, you can also download Subway Surfers for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game has been confirmed to support all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.

Keep in mind that, while the title is available for free, it comes with in-app purchases, so if you don't want to spend real money, you can disable this feature.

Update: The Windows Phone game will not be updated anymore since developers are working on a Windows 10 Mobile version, so the Madagascar update won't arrive for this mobile platform yet.
