Gamers will not be able to use him in the beta

Video game developer and publisher Capcom is ready to announce that the first entirely new combatant that will be part of the upcoming Street Fighter V is Necalli, who has just received an official trailer during the recent Evo 2015 competition.

The footage shows the new character battling with some of the classic presences in the franchise, and relatively limited information about him is offered.

Necalli uses an animalistic style, with wild moves and brutal attacks that are designed to drive his opponents back and to inflict maximum damage, although his style changes in surprising ways once gamers manage to activate his V-Trigger, with new frame data, new combos, and a change in look.

Capcom also says that close range attacks and a command grab are the main tools for gamers who aim to play this newcomer in the world of Street Fighter V.

The development team will offer more information on the background of Necalli and his relationship with the rest of the cast as the launch date gets nearer.

Street Fighter V will include another three brand new characters that will be part of the total of 16 combatants that gamers will be able to use when the title is first introduced.

The game will get extensive post-launch support

Capcom has revealed that it plans to offer all the post-launch content for Street Fighter V for free to all members of the player base, giving them a chance to get currency by simply playing. They will then be able to redeemed that currency to get more characters, costumes and other DLC.

There's also an option to pay real world money to access everything as soon as the company offers new content.

Capcom aims to make sure that the community that will coalesce around Street Fighter V remains engaged in the long term and that DLC does not create rifts.

Street Fighter V will get a five-day long beta process that will run on the PlayStation 4 starting on July 23 at 6 PM Pacific Time.

Gamers will be able to use four characters at first, Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, and M. Bison, and access to both Cammy and Birdie will be offered on the 25th.

Street Fighter V will be launched on both the PC and the PlayStation 4 during March of next year.
