Blizzard has revealed that its upcoming StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void title is going to make its official debut on PC on November 10, worldwide. What's more, a fantastic cinematic video and a lot of new story details have also been shared by the studio.

Blizzard has quite a lot of ongoing projects right now, from the always-popular World of Warcraft to surprise hits like Hearthstone, not to mention Diablo 3 or the new Heroes of the Storm experience.

A few years after the latest StarCraft II release, in the form of Heart of the Swarm, the studio is finally getting ready to roll out Legacy of the Void, the third and final chapter in the planned trilogy.

Legacy of the Void arrives this November

Blizzard confirmed over the weekend a November 10 release date for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, and it also shared a stellar cinematic video that promotes the upcoming game and focuses on the conflict between the Protoss faction and the Zerg one.

The trailer, in classic Blizzard style, looks absolutely amazing, and besides it, the studio also provided some fresh details about the real-time strategy experience.

First up, players will guide Protoss legends like Artanis and Zeratul from a new arkship called the Spear of Adun. Besides helping the alien faction, players will also see what will happen to Terran hero Jim Raynor and the Kerrigan, the Zerg Queen of Blades.

The new game is already available for digital pre-purchase via Blizzard's Battle.net service, and everyone who does this gets automatic and immediate access to the Whispers of Oblivion prologue missions. They'll also get Artanis as a hero in the studio's Heroes of the Storm game, although he's not available just yet.

Those who upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition also get other in-game bonuses for Blizzard titles, such as an Archon pet in World of Warcraft, a Void Speeder mount in Heroes of the Storm, or a Protoss-themed card back in Hearthstone.

Last but not least, a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition packs all the aforementioned goodies, not to mention a hardcover StarCraft Field Manual, a DVD with cinematics and special features, as well as the soundtrack.
