In February of this year, Sony unveiled the new Xperia X line that contained the Xperia X, Xperia XA, and Xperia X Performance. The smartphones definitely caught the attention of the market, as they came with powerful specs and rear cameras, coupled with advanced processors and a sleek design.

But ever since unveiling these three devices, Sony has revealed only the medium-range Xperia E5, but no other smartphone in the Xperia X line. Still, a few days ago, a new Sony smartphone was spotted on GFXBench.

Sony Xperia F8331 seems to be the company's next flagship device, considering that the benchmarking test revealed some rather interesting and powerful specs. The handset would sport a 5.1-inch display with 1080p resolution and run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.

In addition, the phone would pack a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor, which, although it isn't the last model to be released on the market, is still a highly capable processor. It will also have Adreno 530 graphics processing unit.

Moreover, the listing suggests that the smartphone will ensure 3GB of RAM and 32B of internal storage, together with a 21MP rear camera and a 12MP unit on the front.

Images of the upcoming Sony F8331 have leaked on GSMArena today, and the website reveals that the smartphone will come with the capacity to capture 4k videos using both its front and back cameras. What's more, the Sony device boasts a neat design, with the top and bottom being flat white while the left and right sides are curved.

Images of the phone show a new layout with dual-LED flash on the back and front-facing stereo speakers, as well as the NFC antenna on the front. The handset also seems to come with USB Type-C port on the bottom, which is a first as far as a Sony smartphone is concerned. Besides, it will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
