One of the many Xperia smartphones soon to be unveiled by Sony, the Xperia C5 Ultra has just been confirmed by its user guide.

Also known as Sony Lavander, the handset leaked a few times in the past, but no confirmation came from the Japanese company.

Today, XperiaBlog reports the Xperia C5 Ultra's official manual leaked in China and some of the features of the devices are detailed there.

The only pictures we've seen with the Xperia C5 Ultra were taken from an alleged front panel, so we did not have any idea what the smartphone might look like.

The manual leaked online has a few small pictures showing the handset, and judging by these renders, it looks like the Lavander will have really thin bezels. Apart from that, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra features the same design line specific to Xperia series.

13MP rear camera gets confirmed

Moving on to specs, the Xperia C5 Ultra is expected to sport large display that should support full HD (1080p) resolution. There's no mention of size, but we expect it to be at least 5.5-inch.

The manual confirmed the upcoming smartphone will boast a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, but the front-facing camera hasn't been mentioned in the user guide.

However, rumor has it that the Xperia C5 Ultra will boast a similar 13-megapixel selfie camera in the front, as well as LED flash.

On the inside, the device is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Sony is expected to announce at least two new Xperia smartphones in mid-August and Xperia C5 Ultra might be one of those handsets. There's also the chance that some of Xperia mid-range smartphones might be announced in early September at IFA 2015 trade fair.
