One of Sony's mid-range Android smartphones, the Xperia C4, has finally made its debut in the United States. Officially unveiled back in May, the smartphone went on sale globally a few weeks after the announcement, but it hasn't been made available in North America until now.

We reported yesterday that Xperia Z3+ might be coming to the US as well, though the smartphone is now listed on Sony's official website with the “Coming Soon” tagline, so there's no telling when exactly it will go on sale.

The good news is the same website is currently listing the Xperia C4 as “New,” which means customers can now purchase it for its retail price.

Speaking of which, Sony Xperia C4 is now available for purchase in the US via Best Buy and Sony Online Store for $275 outright.

For that amount, customers will get a mid-range phablet with a large 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

It only supports LTE bands for GSM carriers

It's also worth mentioning that Xperia C4 is compatible with US LTE bands, but only for GSM carriers, so keep that in mind before making your purchase.

Also, Sony Xperia C4 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, which is complemented by a Mali-T760MP2 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, Xperia C4 features a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while on the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel wide-angle camera for selfies and video calls.

Last but not least, the Xperia C4 LTE is powered by a 2,600mAh battery, which should provide up to 13 hours of talk time or up to 28 days of standby time.
