Sony took the stage at MWC 2017 to announce the new Xperia XZ Premium phone and three more smartphones with exciting features. One of them is Sony Xperia XZs, the successor to the company’s Xperia XZ flagship, with some additional features.

The XZs will be available in select markets late this spring, but the company didn’t specifically disclose details about its availability and pricing. The XZs comes with the brand new Motion Eye camera which lets users record 960fps Super slow motion videos and use Predictive Capture features that start recording even before the user presses the button.

The rear camera capacity is 19MP with Exmor memory stacked image sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus and 4k recording. The XZs has a 13MP camera in the front with 22mm wide angle lens.

In addition, it has a 5.2-inch Full HD display and a metal back for a premium look and feel. The phone will be made available in a number of color options, including Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black. Inside, it runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, coupled with Adreno 530 and 4GB of RAM.

It’s offered with either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory and it draws power from a 2,900mAh battery with battery care in some countries and Quick Charge 3.0. The XZs has IP68 certification, a fingerprint sensor on the power button and USB Type-C port. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

The other two phones that Sony announced are the Xperia XA1 and XZ1 Ultra. The former has a 23MP rear camera with 24mm wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture, while the front camera reaches 8MP. Display size is 5-inch with HD resolution, while the phone runs MediaTek Helio 920 SoC, has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 2,300mAh battery with fast charging.

Xperia XA1 Ultra has roughly the same specs as the XA1, except for the 4GB of RAM capacity and up to 64GB of internal memory. The rear camera is about the same, while the front camera has a 16MP capacity. The display size is much bigger at 6 inches with Full HD resolution, while battery capacity is just 2,700mAh. Both phones will run Android Nougat out of the box.
