More rumors regarding Sony's next flagship smartphone continue to emerge as we're getting close to IFA 2015 trade fair.

We reported to you earlier this week that two high-end smartphones had been spotted in UAProf, which might be the unannounced Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact.

Both devices are powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and pack 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipsets inside. Codenamed Sony Xperia E6603 and E5803, they are also said to feature full HD (1080p) and HD (720) display, respectively.

Today, a new leak confirms that Sony's next flagship smartphone will be launched on the market as Xperia Z5.

Also, the high-end device is likely to star in the next Bond movie called Specter, which is set for release on November 6.

The smartphone's name along with the “Made for Bond” tagline have been recently spotted in China.

However, it looks like the letter “Z” from the phone's name has been blurred, which suggests that Sony might debut another naming scheme for its lineup of flagship handsets.

Sony's next flagship smartphone needs to be innovative

Apart from that, nothing else is revealed about the smartphone, so we're left with all the confusing details we received in the last couple of months.

If any of these rumors are yet to be believed, the Xperia Z5, or whatever its name, will be powered by Qualcomm's unreleased Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.

It should also pack a high-capacity 4,500 mAh battery and an impressive 21-megapixel Sony Exmor RS rear-facing camera with IMX230 sensor, 4K video recording, LED flash and autofocus.

The Xperia Z5 is also rumored to come with fingerprint scanner, and possibly a Quad HD display, though the latest info indicates a full HD (1080p) display after all.

Sony is expected to unveil at least one high-end Xperia smartphone in early September at IFA 2015 trade fair, but the new device(s) might not be available until October/November.
