You made the Cookie Monster cry, you have no friends

If Siri was real, she’d be a real funny gal. Apple’s personal voice assistant has been evolving since it was first introduced, which means its answers to occasionally ridiculous questions have also improved.

Siri has now added sass to the healthy side of humor it’s been serving when asked those ridiculous or nonsensical questions. As Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman on the critical hit (and fan-favorite) “Breaking Bad” on AMC, discovered, if you ask Siri what’s 0 divided by 0, you will get told off.

Obviously, you can’t divide 0 by 0, for the simple reason that 0 being 0, there’s nothing there to divide. Most calculators will serve you with “result not defined” answer, but Siri isn’t your average calculator, is it?

“Imagine that you have zero cookies and you split them evenly among zero friends,” it says. “How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense. And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends.”

Needless to say, Siri’s unique way of shading you for asking what is essentially a nonsensical question has been the amusement of Twitter users for the past few hours. You can see some of their reactions in the Twitter samples below.

Word of caution: some feelings may have been hurt in the making of this.
