Actor Shia LaBeouf got himself in trouble with the law again, during a bizarre night out in Austin, Texas. He was there for the Austin City Limits music festival, but he ended up spending the night in jail after he got arrested for public intoxication.

As of now, his publicist has not released any kind of statement on his latest “adventure,” but reports online say that he must be in a really bad shape, as he was acting “bizarrely” and was either incredibly drunk or incredibly high.

Shia LaBeouf in cuffs again

Last year, Shia got into similar trouble, after he got drunk and disrupted a Broadway play. Then, when cops came to arrest him, he spat in their face and tried to bite them, for which reason he had to be put in what he would later call “a Hannibal mask.”

However, he insisted that this kind of behavior was in the past and that he had been into treatment for his alcohol problem. The first sign that this wasn’t the case came in July this year, when he got into a very violent fight with his ex-girlfriend and later told some strangers who broke them up that he would have “killed her” if it hadn’t been for them.

Last night, Shia’s temper and alcohol issues got the best of him again. TMZ says that he and a female companion were bar-hopping when one bouncer refused to let them in because they were too intoxicated.

Shia being Shia started to cause a scene, whilst attempting to force his way inside. He failed.

A few minutes later, he jaywalked in front of a police patrol, as the cops urged him not to do it. They eventually arrested him for public intoxication, with the whole scene being captured on the many cameras of curious passers-by. TMZ has video at the link above.

What is the matter with Shia?

The same media outlet says, based on eyewitness accounts, that Shia was in a very bad state. He was “either extremely drunk or high on drugs” and “acting bizarrely,” and was set on causing a major scene.

After the NYC incident, during an interview promoting the movie “Fury,” Shia admitted that he had a problem with alcohol, but that didn’t convince many celebrity pundits, who still believe he’s also doing drugs.

Shia hasn’t been to rehab, but he did take some classes after the NYC arrest and did community work. He never owned up to his problem being a full-blown addiction, but as you can imagine, this is exactly what many online commenters believe is happening.
