14 DAY TRIAL // Kourtney Kardashian is putting on a brave face after the split from her longtime partner and the father of her 3 children, Scott Disick, and so is he. However, his friends are worried for him, because if Kourtney is out of the picture to keep him on the straight and narrow path, then he is hopeless.
Kourtney dumped him after photos emerged last week of Scott and an ex-girlfriend flirting in Monte Carlo, where he’s been partying up a storm. Rumor has it that he’s off the wagon again, drinking and doing drugs and not even remembering his pledge to stay sober, which he made to his family and his friends earlier this year.
“No real incentive for him to get it together”
Insiders tell People magazine that Scott is headed for certain disaster because, to put it simply, if Kourtney isn’t there to keep him on track, no one will.
She stood by his side all these years, reminding him to keep it together for her and the kids. Because she’s given up on him, friends are convinced that he will go down this path he’s started on without as much as a single look back.
“When he's gone to rehab or sought treatment for his issues, it has been after an ultimatum: Get treatment or it's over,” a source says. “If it's over, there's no real incentive for him to get himself together.”
Apparently, Scott “is lying to everyone,” including himself, promising he’s ok and not back to his old ways, but his friends know better: he’s a goner unless he does something drastic like checking himself into rehab STAT.
Scott hasn’t been with his family in over a month
Rumor has it that he and Kourtney have been having problems for some time, but they got very serious about one month ago, when he left home and never came back.
Yesterday was his daughter Penelope’s birthday, and he was not there with her. She got a party at Disneyland, where she was accompanied by mom Kourtney, aunt Kim and cousin North, and grandma Kris Jenner.
Only after paparazzi photos of the Disney party emerged online did Scott find the time to stop posting photos on Instagram of cars he wanted badly to buy to wish her a happy birthday. You can see his post below.
