14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung recorded a major setback with the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, and the company is understandably reluctant to launching new devices. The Galaxy Tab S3 was rumored to be unveiled during IFA 2016 in September, but the South Korean company decided against that move.
SamMobile reported that the Galaxy Tab S3 carrying the model numbers SM-T820 and SM-T825 will be launched in the first quarter of next year. The SM-T820 variant is the Galaxy Tab S3 WiFi, while SM-T825 is the Galaxy Tab S3 model.
The report didn’t mention any specs of the upcoming tablet, but the Galaxy Tab S3 received several certifications this summer and some of its specs were revealed. Apparently, the tablet could come with a 9.7-inch display with 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution and 3GB of RAM. Internal memory could reach 32GB and the tablet could draw power from a 4,000 mAh battery.

It is also rumored to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and come with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP camera for conducting video calls. Images of the upcoming tablet have leaked online a while back and the Galaxy Tab S3 already received FCC and TENAA certification.
The Galaxy Tab S3 will be the successor to last year’s Galaxy Tab S2, which came with a Super AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution and an octa-core CPU with four cores running at 1.9GHz and the other four at 1.3GHz.
It had 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal memory, with the option to expand to 128GB using a microSD card. Battery capacity reached 5,870mAh with an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera. The tablet was made available in the US at multiple carriers and in other countries as well.
