South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung announced a few moments ago on Twitter that they plan on unveiling the rumored Galaxy S10 smartphone during a Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event that would take place next month on February 20th.

So there you have it, Samsung puts an end to all the rumors by posting a tweet with a teaser of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone, which you can see below. The company will hold a Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event on February 20th, which will be live streamed on their YouTube channel.

Besides the Galaxy S10 smartphone, Samsung is believed to unveil a new type of device, a foldable smartphone. The teaser they posted on Twitter earlier might suggest this, but there's no other evidence than the foldable smartphone prototype using an Infinity Flex display unveiled by Samsung last year.

The next generation Samsung Galaxy devices

As stated in the tweet, Samsung wants to welcome its customers to the next generation Galaxy devices, which gives us hope that there's more than just the usual round of hardware upgrades they put in the Galaxy S10 smartphone. Hopefully, we'll see something that would finally make us upgrade our year old Galaxy S9 and S9+.

The South Korean company is believed to unveil not two, but three Galaxy S10 models, one that could also feature the latest 5G network technology, but Samsung did not provide any details about what they plan to unveil at the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event. If history is any indication, the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone should go on sale in early March 2019.

The Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event will be live streamed on February 20th, just a few days before MWC Barcelona (formerly Mobile World Congress) 2019, the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry. If history is any indication, the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone should go on sale in early March 2019.
