Recently, Samsung has announced that it will be holding a press conference during the MWC 2017, specifically on February 26. While the teaser doesn’t actually reveal which device will be announced, many say that the Galaxy Tab S3 will finally be unveiled.

Samsung will be making many improvements to the Galaxy Tab S2 successor, with a more powerful processor and added RAM capacity. But the Galaxy Tab S3 isn’t the most exciting Samsung device that will be showcased during MWC 2017.

According to a fresh report from the Korea Herald, Samsung plans to showcase the Galaxy S8 during the year’s biggest tech event. Samsung won’t unveil the upcoming phone, but will show a one-minute promotional video to raise the hype.

Samsung will broadcast the press conference live

It’s unclear if the specs will be revealed, but we do expect at least some design elements of the Galaxy S8 to be shown. Surely, Samsung won’t reveal all details about the new phone, only some particularities that would give us an idea about the flagship. However, Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed that it will showcase the Galaxy S8 this month, so take the information with a grain of salt.

Samsung’s press conference on February 26 will be broadcast live on the company’s website, so only a few weeks are left until we could possibly get an official glimpse at the phone.

The Galaxy S8 is expected to be unveiled on March 29 during the Galaxy Unpacked event held in multiple cities across the world. The smartphone is said to reach stores in mid-April and incorporate exciting specs like the latest Snapdragon chipset, a fingerprint scanner on the back and possibly an iris scanner.

Other than that, Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to have a 5.8-inch display, while the larger S8 Plus model could feature a 6.2-inch screen, both with 18:9 aspect ratios.
