We're still about three months from the official Galaxy S8 unveil, but rumors about the flagship's specs continue to emerge either we want it or not. If you don't like spoilers or you're extremely reluctant to rumors, then you might want to stop reading this.

We're just kidding, the Galaxy S8 will surely be an upgrade over the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7, the last having been discontinued last month.

According to a new source in China, Samsung plans to add a 256GB storage option for those who want more storage on their Galaxy S8 device. It's unclear though if Samsung will remove the SD card or maintain it like in the Galaxy S7/S7 edge.

One other thing that's worth noting is that there will be two versions of the Galaxy S8 launched on the market, but they will be available in different regions. There will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 variant and an Exynos 9-based model, which will probably be available internationally.

Another interesting piece of information that adds to the puzzle is related to the fingerprint sensor. It appears that Samsung Galaxy S8 will pack a button-less fingerprint scanner, which will be based on Ultrasonic technology.

Also, the Galaxy S8 materials are likely to be more expensive than those used in the Galaxy S7 by roughly 30%. Basically, this means that the upcoming flagship could cost a lot more than the previous models.

The price for the basic model could start at $850 and go up depending on the amount of storage. It's hard to believe that Samsung will make a more expensive Galaxy S series phone, so let's just file this under rumors.

If you haven't heard yet, the Galaxy S8 is also rumored to come with a dual-camera setup on the back (12MP + 13MP). Also, the amount of RAM will be boosted to 6GB from 4GB.

We have yet to learn anything about the battery, the company's Achilles' heel, but we do know Samsung plans to include 3-coil wireless technology into the phone.
