Samsung has been working on multiple mid-range and entry-level phones part of several series, and it seems that information on one of them has surfaced yet again. Samsung SM-G5510 has been spotted on Zauba, which means that the handset could be released soon.

The phone has surfaced on India’s import-export tracking site Zauba, and the listing indicates that the handset sports a 5-inch display, compared to the 4.8-inch screen that it had in a benchmarking test on GFXBench. The two units were imported into India on August 31 for testing.

One of the two units was shipped into the country on September 3 for R&D and evaluation. The listing doesn’t mention any specs or other details on the upcoming model, but the phone did receive FCC certification just a few days ago.

In addition, the device got WiFi certification at the end of last month, which definitely means that it will be announced soon. It could be part of the Galaxy On series, and it was WiFi certified together with another Samsung device, the SM-G5520.

Samsung SM-G5510 could come with 2GB of RAM

Samsung SM-G5510 recently passed through GFXBench, where some of its specs were revealed. The smartphone seemed to come with a 4.8-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, but the Zauba listing suggests a 5-inch screen, which is most likely the final variant, since listings on benchmarking sites are prone to changes.

The phone also appeared to pack a Snapdragon 425 chipset with a quad-core 1.4GHz CPU and Adreno 308 graphics processing unit. RAM capacity reached 2GB with 16GB of internal storage. In addition, the smartphone had a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Samsung SM-G5510 seemed to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed. It will most likely be unveiled together with the SM-G5520, but there aren’t many details on the specs of the latter device. Still, it should come with similar specs, considering the resemblance in code numbers.
