Samsung has opened the beta program for Samsung Experience 9.0 to select Galaxy S8 and S8+ users in the US, UK, and South Korea, allowing them to test drive the upcoming OS based on Android Oreo.

Samsung Experience is the name of the UI that the South Korean tech giant uses on all of its Android-based smartphones and tablets, which was previously known as TouchWiz, and it's designed from the offset to provide users with a consistent and seamless experience across all of Samsung's services and apps.

At the moment, all Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices run Android Nougat, and the Samsung Note 8 smartphones currently run Samsung Experience 8.5, which is based on Google's Android 7.1.1 "Nougat" mobile operating system. However, Samsung works on  Samsung Experience 9.0, which will be based on Android Oreo.
