Only a couple of months after releasing the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung continues its strategy of bringing the device close to as many users as possible. Recently, Samsung signed a partnership with SK Telecom and Asiana, the leading airline in South Korea, as part of a B2B drive.

In terms of specs, the new Galaxy S7 Asiana is exactly the same as the S7, but it comes with a special Asiana-themed UI, boot and shutdown animations. It’s addressed exclusively to Asiana customers, as it comes with a pre-loaded app for checking Asiana flight information and booking tickets.

Samsung preloaded the Galaxy S7 Asiana with an application that allows users to make flight reservations and view/manage Asiana Airlines tickets directly on their phone.

The Galaxy S7 Asiana comes with customized Knox, a security feature offered on certain Samsung smartphones. It comes with tools for securely separating personal and professional data, without the need of carrying two devices for work and personal use. Knox security features are available on the Galaxy S4, S5, S6, Galaxy Note 3 and, obviously, the S7.

Tweaked for better usage during flight

Asiana customers can use their mileage to get a discounted price for the device, provided that they have at least 50,000 miles in their Asiana account. Customers who buy the phone from Asiana website are eligible to receive a wireless charger and a 32GB microSD card for free.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is currently one of the best smartphones on the market, with QHD 1440 x 2560 pixels display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and DSLR-grade Dual Pixel autofocus technology.

Last year, Samsung launched luxury accessories for its Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge series. The company launched a wireless charger and a Bluetooth headset. It also launched the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition. That being said, we can expect the South Korean company to grace users with the presence of other enhancements in the S7 series as well.
