14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Samsung finally unveiled the Galaxy C5 in China, after images and specs have leaked continuously over the past few months. For the moment, the smartphone is only available in China and it’s unclear if Samsung will be releasing it on other markets as well.
Yesterday, press renders of the Samsung Galaxy C5 leaked online showing the design of the smartphone and revealing that it was set to come in four colors: maple leaf gold, pink gold, grey and silver.
The phone comes with an all-metal case and features a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen with octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. It has 4G LTE support and dual-SIM slot, as well as a 2,600 mAh battery. The Galaxy C5 comes with the Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for a speedy phone charge.
Samsung Galaxy C5 comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with the option to add up to 128GB of additional space. Rear camera capabilities reach 16MP with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.

It also has an 8MP selfie snapper in the front and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box. The device measures 145.9 x 72 x 6.7mm and weighs 143g. The smartphone comes with My Knox, which is a security solution for storing confidential work files, separating work data from personal data and more.
It has a fingerprint sensor and will support Samsung Pay, a service that allows users to authorize payments using simply their fingerprint or a PIN. The service is currently available on the Galaxy S7 and S6 series, as well as on the Note 5.
The smartphone comes in the four aforementioned colors and is priced at $335 (€299) for the 32GB version and $366 (€327) for the 64GB variant. The Galaxy C5 is currently available for pre-order on Samsung’s official website in China and the phone will go on sale starting June 17.
