Samsung intends to sweeten the deal for consumers who are looking to purchase the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in the US. Until May 16, customers who pick up the latest flagship smartphones will receive a free Entertainment Kit.

Samsung’s Entertainment Kit consists of a 64GB Samsung EVO+ microSD card, to add more storage to the already available 64GB inside the Samsung flagship. Moreover, customers will receive a Clear View Standing Cover, to make it easier to watch content on the phone.

Samsung is also adding a six-month Netflix subscription to the mix, so users can watch movies and TV shows on the sleek and wide Infinity Display.

Only 200,000 Entertainment Kits are available

Samsung’s offer is quite appealing considering that the 6-month Netflix plan costs $60, the microSD card sells for $49, while the Clear View Standing Cover is priced at $59.99. This means that customers can save up to $169.99 if they buy one of the two phones by May 16.

Only 200,000 Entertainment Kits are available, so customers should most certainly hurry if they wish to get their hands on them. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ can be purchased from any retail channel, but to claim their freebies, users would need to launch the Shop Samsung app and submit an “Offer Claim Form” to receive the microSD card for free.

Afterward, they would need to access Samsung’s promotions website and sign up until June 30 to get the free six-month subscription to Netflix. US customers who buy the Galaxy S8 from T-Mobile also get a free Gear VR with controller, priced at $129.

Through this promotion, Samsung intends to boost sales of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in the US, especially since the smartphones recently received an update that brings full Bixby functionality. Voice commands are finally available in Bixby and some users noticed that the virtual AI assistant even has the capacity to rap and beatbox.
