Another apology following the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco

Despite having loads of incentives available for Galaxy Note 7 customers, Samsung has recently announced another offering for those who purchased its discontinued flagship.

On top of the €100 discount received by customers who exchanged their Galaxy Note 7 for a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, Samsung has started sending free 128GB SD cards in France.

Those who haven't yet taken advantage of Samsung's exchange and replacement program in France are invited to switch to one of the company's previous flagships in order to benefit from these incentives.

According to a new report, the offering is only available in France and, aside from the free 128GB SD card, it also allows Galaxy Note 7 customers to visit Samsung's VR park in Paris without any charges.

Samsung France is now sending letters to Galaxy Note 7 customers in the country letting them know that they can enter an SMS contest, which will send 1,000 lucky winners to the Samsung Life Changer Park, a VR amusement park in Paris. Obviously, they won't have to pay a dime to visit the VR park.

Those who decide to take their chances and enter the contest will be notified via SMS in case they are among the 1,000 Galaxy Note 7 customers selected to visit Samsung's VR park.

Moreover, winners will be allowed to choose when they want to take the trip to Paris, as they will be able to opt between December 20 and 27.

But there's more, as each winner will be allowed to bring one other person along with them for the entire experience.

So, it looks like Samsung France has taken another step towards making Galaxy Note 7 customers happy, although it's a bit late for that. Still, these type of initiatives can't hurt, so let's enjoy them while they last.
