If you missed the chance to grab the Gear S3 when it was available in the UK not long ago, now would be a good time to pre-order one from … Germany. Amazon Germany is now taking pre-orders for the Samsung Gear S3, but the retailer doesn't say when the smartwatch will ship.
However, we do know that in order to buy one, you'll have to come up with €399, which is slightly higher than the U.S. price. On the positive side, depending on your location, you could benefit from free shipping.
Customers in the United States can pre-order the Samsung Gear S3 via Amazon. The good news is the U.S.-based retailer confirms the smartwatch will ship beginning November 6, so those who pre-order one could receive it in less than a week.
As mentioned earlier, the Gear S3 is much cheaper in the United States, as customers will only have to pay $382.66 for the smartwatch.
It's also worth noting that both Classic and Frontier versions are available for pre-order in the United States and Europe, and for the same prices, €399 and $382.66, respectively.
The Gear S3 is Samsung's second Tizen-powered smartwatch, after the Gear S2 achieved some popularity among techies. The newest model of the Gear S smartwatch is supposed to elevate Tizen OS for wearables to the next level.
However, technologically speaking, the Gear S3 seems like a solid device as well. The smartwatch sports a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED full color display and features water-resistant design. It's compatible with selected Android smartphones and benefits from Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity.
