Despite the fact that Samsung confirmed it would not unveil the Galaxy S8 smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) this month, the South Korean company had a few aces up its sleeve.

One of them is called Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, the most powerful Android tablet ever launched by the company. As expected, the slate will be available in two versions: LTE and Wi-Fi only.

Both versions of the Galaxy Tab S3 come with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution. The LTE model will also feature a nanoSIM slot.

Hardware-wise, Samsung's high-end tablet was confirmed to include last year's Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card).

Photographers will be pleased to know the tablet features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus, f/1.9 aperture, and 4K video recording. The slate can take great selfies as well, thanks to the 5-megapixel camera in the front.

But Samsung added something for music lovers as well. The Galaxy Tab S3 comes with quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by Harman.

Obviously, the tablet packs all the connectivity options you can think of, such as USB Type-C 3.1, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, built-in GPS (Glonass, BDS, Galileo).

According to Samsung, the tablet's 6,000 mAh non-removable battery is supposed to offer up to 12 hours of video playback.

The S Pen stylus is the most advanced ever launched by Samsung and it features Wacom technology. The S Pen has a small 0.7mm tip and features increased pressure sensitivity.

Also, it includes convenient features such as Screen Off Memo to quickly jot down notes, PDF Annotation for easy editing and professional-level drawing with Advanced Drawing Tools.

Starting March, customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy Tab S3 LTE and Wi-Fi only tablets for €769 and €679, respectively. Both tablets will be available in several European markets, but they're expected to make their debut in the United States and other countries in the following weeks.
