Major carrier T-Mobile announced recently the upcoming availability of Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 through its official retail channels.

Along with the two high-end smartphones, T-Mobile confirmed it would add the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 to its portfolio of Android tablets.

According to the carrier, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 will be available for purchase from August 19 for $0 down and 23 monthly payments of $13.34, and then one additional $13.17 payment in the 24th month.

In addition, potential customers can also purchase Samsung's mid-range Android tablet for only $320 outright.

“And only at T-Mobile can customers get Samsung’s tablet with the best tablet plan in wireless to go with their new Samsung smartphones - for just $10 a month, customers can add a tablet and match the data on their Simple Choice voice plan (up to 5 GB a month) for use, specifically on their tablet,” says T-Mobile USA.

It comes with 4G LTE in tow

Moving on to specs, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a mid-range tablet, as mentioned earlier. It sports an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery.

The tablet ships with the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out out of the box and packs no less than 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and video recording, but no LED flash. There's also a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front for selfies.

Connectivity-wise, the tablet offers 4G LTE support, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS support, and microUSB 2.0.

Last but not least, Samsung's mid-range Android tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM.
