It hasn't even been a month since Samsung released the Galaxy Note 7, and it seems that we're already talking about the next flagship the South Korean company is working on. A recent report reveals that Samsung's Galaxy S8 might come with a dual-camera setup on the back and debut in February next year.

The report surfaced at Phone Radar and it seems that the information was posted by a leakster on Weibo, one of China's biggest social networks. It's a bit early for leaks on the Galaxy S8 and information is quite scarce, so take these details with a grain of salt.

The report mentions that the Galaxy S8 will be arriving next February with a dual-camera setup on the back and an iris scanner in the front, just like on the Galaxy Note 7. The leak comes with some details on the two cameras, one will have an f/2.0 aperture, while the second f/2.3.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly come with a 4k display

The report also mentions that Samsung and Sony will be the manufacturers of the cameras, but it fails to mention if the two companies will work together or manufacture modules separately. In addition, the smartphone will come with a 4k display that has the capacity to switch to 2k resolution in order to save battery.

It's not unlikely for Samsung to equip its next flagship with a dual-camera setup, considering that many manufacturers have been releasing phones with such camera capabilities lately and even Apple is expected to feature a dual-camera setup on its upcoming iPhone 7 series.

This is not the first time that we're hearing about a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy S8. Back in July, another report stated that the phone would come with dual-camera setup on the back, as well as Snapdragon 830 incorporated inside. In addition, Samsung is said to announce a new Gear VR with the Galaxy S8, but that remains to be seen.
