We have seen renders of the upcoming Galaxy S8, pictures of clear cases showing what the phone might look like, reports of the new device’s design, and so on. Real life images of the Galaxy S8 have leaked at the start of the month and a new picture surfaced recently.

Veniamin Geskin posted a real life image of the new Galaxy S8 on Twitter and it does seem to match previous rumors about the phone. Just like any other leaks, we recommend you to take this information with a grain of salt, but considering that Veniamin Geskin is behind many relatively accurate renders of the new phone, this image could actually be the real deal.

The phone featured in the latest image shows a dual-edge display for the upcoming phone and small bezels at the top and bottom. The physical home button is nowhere in sight, but it’s already known by now that Samsung has ditched this element and might feature the fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.

The Galaxy S8 might be made out of metal and glass

The Samsung logo is positioned at the center of the bottom bezel, while the power / lock key of the phone is located on the right-hand side. Volume rockers are placed on the left, and the leaked image shows a gold variant for the new phone, similar to the one that leaked at the start of this month. The phone appears to be made out of metal and glass, but we can’t say for sure until an image of the back panel surfaces.

Samsung will most likely showcase the Galaxy S8 during MWC next month and release two different Galaxy S8 units in mid-April. The Galaxy S8 Plus is rumored to come with a 6.2-inch display and dual-camera setup on the back, while the standard Galaxy S8 might have a 5.7-inch screen and a single camera module. The S Pen could be provided as an external accessory for both models.
