There’s no need to further emphasize why Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8 is the most anticipated smartphone in Q1 and the hype continues to be fuelled by leaked live images and specs. Concept renders based on leaked schematics do give us an idea of how the new smartphone might look like.

One such concept image was recently posted by Benjamin Geskin on his Twitter account. He claims that the render is based on leaked schematics and images, while the pitch black color does make the phone appealing to those who prefer the classical look.

The render is in accordance to previous leaks, missing a physical home button, and features a fingerprint scanner on the back, right next to the rear camera. Samsung could still change the position of the fingerprint sensor, especially since it might be considered inconvenient by some.

Aside from a black variant, the Galaxy S8 should also come in a Blue Coral version, seeing how the color was very popular among Note 7 and Galaxy S7 edge users.

The Galaxy S8 will be showcased during MWC 2017

Some recent rumors say that the rear camera might come with Dual ADC feature, which should provide it with better color depth, but take this information with a grain of salt until it is confirmed by multiple sources.

Moving on, the Galaxy S8 might incorporate 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, but we're hearing reports that South Korean and Chinese fans will be able to buy the S8 with 6GB of RAM and more storage.

Nonetheless, the Galaxy S8 will come with the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC on board, being the first smartphone to incorporate Qualcomm’s newest chipset. The smartphone will also be a true competitor for other flagships with its Bixby AI virtual assistant that will take on Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa on Huawei Mate 9. Those attending the MWC 2017 will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of the Galaxy S8 in a one-minute video during Samsung’s press event.
