Samsung has already made it clear that it won’t be announcing the Galaxy S8 during the MWC 2017 this month, but it will reveal the official unveiling date. In addition, some reports say that the smartphone may be teased in a one-minute video during Samsung’s conference, but nothing is for sure.

Meanwhile, information about the upcoming phone continues to surface online. The latest report comes from SamMobile and says that the Galaxy S8 might be made available in Black, Gold and Orchid Gray colors. Unfortunately, images of the color variants weren’t revealed.

The models were listed at a retailer’s database in Ukraine, which reveals information about the SM-G950 and SM-G955 devices, also known as Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

Pricing was also revealed

The retailer also mentioned that the price of the Galaxy S8 would be $950 and about $1050 for the Galaxy S8+. Of course, the prices are applicable in Ukraine and might vary in other markets. In addition, take the information with a grain of salt, as final prices could vary after the launch.

The Galaxy S8 is rumored to come with at least a $100 higher price than its predecessor, considering that it will most likely bring an iris scanner and other improvements. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are both said to come with a curved display and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC inside.

The phones won’t have physical home buttons, and Samsung has apparently decided to place the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. Moreover, the Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8-inch display, while the larger S8+ will have a 6.2-inch screen that could cover 83% of the front panel.

The smartphones will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and have a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C ports. Samsung will be introducing its own virtual AI assistant, Bixby, to be made available in at least 8 languages.
