London-based luxury customizing brand Truly Exquisite released a special edition of Samsung‘s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagships. What’s appealing about these variants is the fact that they come with 24k Gold.
Truly Exquisite also offers a rose variant with 18k gold and a Platinum option, featured in a neutral color. The company offers the option to combine gold variants with the Midnight Black or Orchid Grey models offered by Samsung, as they cover the back panel. Gold or platinum metals are only featured on the metal frame of the phones, the front is black on all color options.
Steep price for 24k gold Galaxy S8
The price of Truly Exquisite’s variants isn’t so appealing; the smartphones are sold for at least £2,250 (without VAT). For the sum, customers also receive a 24K Gold Power Bank, Luxury leather card holder, wireless charging pad and even the usual Gear VR, aside from the standard accessories that are already offered with the phone.
Truly Exquisite also offers the variants with a 6-month warranty and free worldwide shipping. The smartphones in question are the Exynos-powered models with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other specs inside the phone are the same as on the standard model, so expect a 3,000mAh battery and 5.8-inch Infinity Display on the Galaxy S8 and a 6.2-inch screen and 3,500mAh battery on the larger Galaxy S8+.
Pre-orders are already live, while gold and platinum variants will ship 3-4 weeks after the Galaxy S8 launches in Europe on April 28. So expect to receive your order in late May. Samsung’s Galaxy S8 has been quite popular in the US and Korea, where the smartphone surpassed pre-order figures recorded by the Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7.
