Samsung’s upcoming flagship will be announced next week, while leaks about the new phone continue to surface on a daily basis. The latest regards a new batch of images showing the two phones from multiple angles.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are portrayed in yet another set of images, one of which shows the two phones side by side in Blue Coral, the same color that was available for the Galaxy S7 edge and the Galaxy Note 7.
The image shows the size difference between the two new phones, with the Galaxy S8+ having a 6.2-inch display, while the Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8-inch screen. In terms of design, the two devices will be the same, sporting curved displays, tiny bezels and no physical home button.
Aside from Blue Coral, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in Orchid Grey, Black Sky, Arctic Silver, gold and violet options. The colors are visible on the back, as a front black frame is featured on all models, regardless of their color option. The reason is the high number of sensors, which would have otherwise taken all the attention away from the sleek and curved screen.
New images show the camera app and home screen
Aside from this, the Galaxy S8+ was also leaked in a number of images showing off various settings pages, the home screen and the browser. They also reveal the camera app and provide a first glimpse at the phone’s shooting capabilities. When it comes to the main camera on the Galaxy S8, Samsung is said to equip the phone with the same 12MP camera, but with some notable improvements.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be announced on March 29, during the Unpacked event which will be held in New York and London. Samsung will also live stream the event on its app and website.
