Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5, but the South Korean company has not made the high-end smartphones available worldwide.

The handset maker has decided to release the Galaxy Note 5 in North America, while the Galaxy S6 edge+ has been made available in Europe and other regions.

Obviously, customers can get one or the other regardless of where they live, but sometimes they will have to pay extra in shipping fees.

Anyway, the next flagship smartphone coming from Samsung is likely to be available worldwide. Moreover, the Galaxy S7 is said to be launched in two variants, and both will be rolled out globally, so customers can choose either one them.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S7 will come with flat and dual-edge display, just like the Galaxy S6.

They are codenamed Samsung SM-G930 and SM-G935, respectively, and should be unveiled next year in late February or early March, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.

Sources familiar with Samsung's plans for 2016 claim that both versions of Galaxy S7 will be launched in Canada, China, Europe, South Korean and the United States. However, the list of countries where these flagship devices will be launched is not limited to the ones mentioned earlier.

Several carriers have already been confirmed

An initial list that contains some of the carriers that will offer the Galaxy S7 has leaked as well: Bell Mobility (Canada), KT, LG U+, SK Telecom (South Korea), AT&T, Cricket, MetroPCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon (United States).

Obviously, the list will be much bigger by the time the Galaxy S7 goes official, but these are the first details revealed by an official document obtained by SamMobile.

Little is known about Samsung Galaxy S7's specs since it's a bit too early, but rumor has it the smartphone will pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and UFS 2.0 storage technology.

It will also come with a 20-megapixel camera on the back, which should feature ISOCELL sensor, LED flash, autofocus, and 4K video recording.
