The smartphone should hit shelves in March 11

We're less than two weeks away from the official unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S7, but details about the flagship continue to emerge online.

The latest info comes via Dutch blog Android World and refers to smartphone's availability for pre-order and the time it should hit shelves.

But the most important thing is the Galaxy S7 will come with some free stuff for those who pre-order it by the time it arrives in stores.

According to the cited source, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be available for pre-order on February 21. That's quite an achievement for the South Korean company, which will unveil the smartphones on the same day.

Aside from that, customers who pre-order either of the two flagship smartphones between February 21 and March 10 will receive a free Samsung Gear VR.

Although the information refers to pre-orders in the Netherlands, we suspect the incentive will be available in all European countries.

It's unclear whether or not Samsung will offer the free Gear VR with the pre-order of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in the United States or other regions.

Only the 32GB variant might be available for pre-order at launch

As far as availability is concerned, once again, the “rumor mill” confirms both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will hit shelves on March 11.

However, the smartphones might arrive slightly later in Asian countries or other regions, but no later than the end of March.

Sadly, customers will only be able to pre-order the 32GB model of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge on February 21, but a 64GB variant should become available later on.

Since Samsung has decided to add microSD card slot to both smartphones, the amount of internal memory should no longer be an issue for users. Are you happy that you'll get a free Gear VR with Galaxy S7 pre-orders? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
