14 DAY TRIAL // Even though we've had our fair share of Galaxy S7 official press renders in the last couple of weeks, we haven't seen the actual device in the wild.
Well, it looks like the first live image of the alleged Galaxy S7 has just been leaked online by Vietnamese website Reviewdao.vn (via SamMobile).
Apparently, they had access to a sample unit for review. Based on their experience, it seems that Exynos-based Samsung Galaxy S7 is 15% faster than the Qualcomm-powered model, for both processor and graphics processing unit.
Also, the smartphone is said to come with a high-end audio DAC (ESS Sabre 9018) inside. While the value of the battery is not mentioned, the source claims battery life is on par “with last year's Note line.”
At the same time, the Galaxy S7's battery can charge from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes thanks to the fast charging technology included.
Water-resistance confirmed, along with Britecell camera sensor
Samsung Galaxy S7 has been confirmed to feature water-resistance, as well as a 12-megapixel Britecell camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture. There's no mention of the size of the module camera, but you can see in the picture that the hump is almost gone.
Design-wise, the flagship won't come with an aluminum frame, as Samsung has decided to replace it with a magnesium metal frame.
According to the source, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be introduced in Vietnam on March 3 and will be available for purchase on March 18.
The standard version of Galaxy S7 will cost around $740 while the Galaxy S7 edge is priced at no less than $890 outright.
However, these prices may differ depending on the market. Rumor has it that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S7 in Europe, North America and China on the same day, March 11.
