A new set of details about the upcoming Samsung flagships, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, have just leaked online. A new diagram that shows the alleged specs of both smartphones confirms most of the information we've had until now.

The leaked diagram has been published by Slashgear, but the source of the image remains anonymous since their identity becoming public would put their job at risk.

According to the diagram that highlights the most important specs included in Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, the smartphones will come equipped with either Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPUs.

We’ve already known that the Chinese and US versions of the smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm's chipset while the international model will include Samsung's own Exynos 8890 processor.

The good news is the image confirms both devices will feature USB Type-C port. Even though we hoped that Samsung would opt for this type of the port, none of the information leaked until now has referred to this component.

UFS 2.0 flash memory and 4GB RAM

Also, the UFS 2.0 flash memory inside the Galaxy S7 smartphones comes in different sizes, at 16, 32, and 64GB. As expected, both Galaxy S7 models will pack 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S7 is confirmed to sport a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display while the Galaxy S7 edge will feature a slightly larger 5.5-inch display.

Both screens support Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating on front and back panels, as well as curved glass edges on the rear.

Another piece of information revealed in the image is the fact that both handsets will pack 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras with 4K video recording and dual-LED flash. On the front, Samsung will keep the same 8-megapixel camera, similar to Galaxy S6's.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be officially unveiled on February 21. Both are expected to go on sale a few weeks after the announcement.
