Rumors about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 family are still confusing, as many report that the company will launch three smartphones while other sources claim there will be no less than five Galaxy S7 variations released this year.

Either way, it would be interesting the know technical specifications for all these Galaxy S7 models before they are going official.

The folks over at TechGrapple have just spotted a screenshot on Weibo, the Chinese version of Facebook. The screenshot has been taken from a Galaxy S7 edge Plus prototype unit.

The smartphone goes by the model number Samsung SM-G930 (the last digit has been blurred in the screenshot), which is considered a Galaxy S7 variation.

Along with the model number, we also get some of the phone's main specs, which suggest that this is the Galaxy S7 edge Plus that's been confirmed by the “rumor mill.”

First of all, the Galaxy S7 edge Plus will boast a larger 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

On top of that, rumor has it that Samsung's will add "pressure sensitive displays" into all of its Galaxy S7 smartphones.

Furthermore, the name of the processor is not visible in the screenshot, but it's mentioned as featuring 64-bit architecture.

Snapdragon 820 CPU instead of Exynos 8890

The good news is we already know the Galaxy S7 will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 8890 chipset. However, some models will be packed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 CPU, and the prototype in the screenshot has one inside since the Adreno 530 GPU is mentioned.

The powerful processor should be coupled with 4GB of RAM, and the screenshot confirms this information. At the back, the Galaxy S7 edge Plus packs a 12.2-megapixel photo snapper, which has been downgraded from the 16-megapixel camera included in the Galaxy S6.

There's also a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls. In addition, a fingerprint sensor is mentioned, which is likely to be positioned under the Home button.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and all its variations are expected to be officially introduced on February 21, one day ahead of MWC 2016 trade fair.
