Right after the launch of the Galaxy Note5, rumors related to the next-in-line Galaxy S6 have intensified, which is to be understood, given that this is the next best thing we expect Samsung to come out with.

One of the latest pieces of info related to the upcoming flagship is that the Galaxy S7 will arrive in two variants, as the Galaxy S6 did: one with a normal display and the other one with a double edge screen.

Next year Samsung is rumored to launch the smartphone ahead of schedule, just as it did with the Galaxy Note5. According to sources familiar with the matter, Sammy might end up unveiling the phone as soon as late January, with the device to become available in February.

But while we wait on that, the concept designers at Melty Style have taken the opportunity to create a video presentation showcasing how the Galaxy S7 edge might end up looking. As you can see in the clip embedded below, the look of the phone is pretty similar to the one of Galaxy S6 edge, but there’s no surprise there.

Would you buy the Galaxy S7 edge if it looked like this?

Nevertheless, the handset looks quite sleek, and the creators of the concept also share with us the purported specifications. According to them, the phone features a QHD Super AMOLED display, but given the fact that the first 4K phone already launched into the wild (the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium), we expect Samsung to make the plunge to 4K too, at least with some variants.

Anyway, we’re also told the device features a Snapdragon 820 processor in combination with 4GB of RAM, an advanced 21MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED dual tone flash, plus an 8MP selfie shooter located up front.

Moving on, we can spot the SIM tray, which is placed on top, plus a USB Type-C 3.0 port located at the bottom of the phone, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

We were hoping that Samsung might add a USB Type-C port on board the Galaxy Note5, but we all know that didn’t happen, so with that in mind, the real-life Galaxy S7 will certainly factor that into the equation.
