Samsung is rumored to unveil two new high-end smartphone in mid-August. The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 egde+ are expected to go on sale by the end of the next month in order to avoid competing with Apple's upcoming iPhone 6s.

We already know quite a lot of details about both Samsung smartphones that are supposed to be unveiled next month. For example, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is said to be equipped with an Exynos 7420 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 edge+ was rumored to feature a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor inside, as well as 3GB of RAM.

However, a new report coming from Vietnam claims that Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ will pack the same chipset inside the Galaxy Note 5, Exynos 7420.

The octa-core processor will be paired with no less than 4GB of RAM, although initial rumors claimed the Galaxy S6 edge+ will only pack 3GB of RAM.

3,000 mAh battery and octa-core CPU

On top of that, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is rumored to be powered by a high-capacity 3,000 mAh battery. It's unclear whether or not the smartphone's battery will be removable.

There's also the question of microSD card, which might be missing from both Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. Rumors are a bit confusing at this time, so we expect more details on both high-end smartphones to emerge in the coming weeks.

As mentioned earlier, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ are expected to be officially unveiled on August 12, and they are likely to be made available on the market on August 21.

Still, they will not be available for purchase worldwide at launch, instead Samsung will only make these high-end smartphones available in select markets, and rumor has it that Europeans will have to wait a bit longer.
