Samsung Galaxy S10 is the next flagship to see daylight, and according to rumors that have been swirling around for the last few months, this is expected to happen in early 2019.

And if a report from Gizmodo is anything to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy S10 should see daylight in February just ahead of MWC 2019, whereas pre-orders would kick off on February 20.

Shipping will begin on March 8, 2019, though there’s a chance that the first customers could receive it a bit earlier, as Samsung embraced this approach for the previous generations too.

As rumored, Samsung’s Galaxy S10 lineup is expected to include three different models, all featuring the new Infinity O displays – these are the new screens that will be available on the company’s flagships, and they use holes in the top panels in order to accommodate the front-facing parts like the selfie cameras.

Fingerprint sensor embedded into the screen

On the other hand, the base model, which will come with a 5.8-inch display, is likely to boast a flat design without curved edges. This is something that’s been speculated for several months and it makes sense given that the South Koreans wants to make a bigger difference between this particular configuration and the top-of-the-range phones.

An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will also be integrated into the screen, though it’s expected that only the high-end more expensive versions would feature it.

Pricing will be the following, according to the report:

Samsung Galaxy S10 (5.8-inch) 128 GB storage - £669 ($850)
Samsung Galaxy S10 (6.1-inch) 128 GB storage - £799 ($1,000)
Samsung Galaxy S10 (6.1-inch) 512 GB storage - £999 ($1,250)
Samsung Galaxy S10+ (6.4-inch) 128 GB storage - £899 ($1,130)
Samsung Galaxy S10+ (6.4-inch) 512 GB storage - £1,099 ($1,390)
Samsung Galaxy S10+ (6.4-inch) 1 TB storage - £1,399 ($1,760)
Samsung is also expected to launch a 5G version of the Galaxy S10+, but the report claims it would be announced at a later time. Previous reports indicated this particular configuration could come with up to six cameras, though it remains to be seen if any hardware upgrades besides the 5G support would be offered.
