Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 is definitely one of the most anticipated smartphones to be released in the following months, and the device has been the subject of considerable speculation lately. Now, new information on the Galaxy Note 7 has just leaked online, providing details on its display size and battery capacity.

Rumors on the Galaxy Note 7 continue to pour in, with the latest saying that it will come with a 5.8-inch QHD dual-edge curved Super AMOLED display. Hearsay indicated that the Note 7 would have an Edge variant, but this is the first time the display size is actually mentioned. What we’ve found out is that the screen size will be slightly larger than that of Note 5, which featured a 5.7-inch display.

The info comes from GSMHelpDesk, and it also mentions that the Note 7 will have a powerful battery of 4,000 mAh, surely one of the biggest on the market. The report also shows that the smartphone will be available in the Netherlands and other markets in Europe, but that was to be expected.

The Galaxy Note 7 will come with 6GB of RAM

Display size and battery aren’t the only details mentioned in the report, as the post has also revealed that the Galaxy Note 7 will come with an Exynos 8 processor and 6GB of RAM. Rear camera capacity should reach 12MP while also providing you with dual-pixel phase-detection auto-focus and some more features.

The launch date has been rumored to be on August 2, and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge could carry a price starting €799 ($903) in Europe. Other rumors suggest that the Note 7 will pack an iris scanner, Android N, and IP68 water and dust resistance.

Earlier today, we reported that Samsung might release solely the Galaxy Note 7 Edge variant this August, which means that there’s no flat screen model in the works. However, these are just rumors at this point, and Samsung might actually change its mind and provide a flat screen variant of the Note 7.
