There are many rumors surrounding the upcoming release of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 5. Some of the phone's specs have been leaked already and many sources claim Samsung might have decided to unveil the smartphone earlier than expected.

Today, SamMobile is back with yet more details on the Galaxy Note 5 that aren't really new, but they now claim that what was once tagged as rumor should be confirmed.

Apparently, they have managed to confirm with more sources in the knowledge that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will indeed pack 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, which is the fastest RAM memory available for mobile phones.

They also claim they have been able to confirm with the same sources some other specs of the Galaxy Note 5 that were leaked not long ago.

For example, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be equipped with a homegrown Exynos 7422 chipset, which is the company's first true all-in-one SoC (system-on-chip) solution.

MicroSD card and removable battery still missing

Samsung's unique chipset accommodates a 64-bit octa-core processor, a powerful graphics processing unit, 4GB RAM and a Shannon 333 LTE modem, all in the same package.

Furthermore, the phablet will boast a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It will also come with S Pen and support for wireless charging.

Design-wise, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature the same glass back as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, which means there's a high chance the smartphone will come with a non-removable battery.

Rumors also claim Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone will lack microSD card slot. The Galaxy Note 5 is now expected to be unveiled in mid-August or early September, along with Galaxy S6 edge Plus, to avoid competing with Apple's iPhone 6s.

However, while customers might be able to pre-order the smartphone early, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is unlikely to make it to market until later this fall.
