Both devices are expected to be unveiled next month

We're less than a month away from the unveiling of Samsung's next high-end smartphones, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+, which are expected to be officially launched on August 12.

If rumors are true, then both smartphones should go on sale on August 21, but only in select markets. For example, Europeans will have a hard time getting the Galaxy Note 5 since the phablet might not be available in this region at launch.

Although we have received quite a lot of information about both smartphones in the last couple of weeks, Samsung is still mum on the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+'s specs and availability.

Several renders of the smartphones have been leaked recently as well, but we did not have any pictures of a working device until recently.

The pictures show two working prototype units

Today, several live pictures showing the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ were published by UK blog MobileFun.

They only show the boot screens of the smartphones, which might or might not have been faked. One of the pictures shows the model number of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ (SM-G928A), as well as the OS version coming pre-installed: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Both details shown in these picture are in line with the information we got through various sources, so these pictures might be legit after all.

Even though these might be working prototypes of the smartphones, they look very close to the design renders leaked last week.

As some of you might have noticed by now, the Galaxy S6+ looks very much like a blown up version of the regular model, so there aren't many changes in terms of design.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 5 borrows some of the design lines from the latest Galaxy S6 flagship smartphone, but since we can't see the back of the device, there's no telling whether it's made of glass or not.
