The Galaxy J7 (2017) is an unannounced smartphone that we believe will make its debut on the market ahead of Mobile World Congress trade fair, which is scheduled to kick off in late February.

We've been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) since last year when a couple of renders of the phone were published online.

Moreover, the same handset has been spotted earlier this month in benchmarks, which is why we know quite a lot about its hardware configuration.

However, more recently, the smartphone was spotted at the US official certification authority, FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which suggests the Galaxy J7 (2017) could be introduced in the United States anytime soon.

Well, according to Evan Blass, the Galaxy J7 (2017) will indeed make its debut on the US market, but a release date has yet to be disclosed. The smartphone will be picked up by at least three major carriers in the country, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular.

Since we don't know when it will be announced, we also don't have any information regarding its price. Still, it should be in the range of around $300-$350 considering it's a mid-range device.

Speaking of which, based on previous leaks, it appears that Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will pack some nice improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy J7 (2016).

For example, the handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card).

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, as well as a 13-megapixel camera on the back, which will be accompanied by another 5-megapixel camera in the front.

We also know the smartphone is likely to include a 3,000 mAh battery and it will run Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box.
