Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 in less than a week, but it seems that the company is also working on other smartphones that it may release to the market. One of such device is the Galaxy Folder 2, which has recently passed through TENAA.

The handset carries the model number SM-G1600, and it appears to be running Android OS. Galaxy Folder 2 flip phone has already received approval from WiFi and the FCC.

The TENAA listing doesn't reveal many details on the upcoming device, but images show that it will be coming with a golden color option and that it will support Dual SIM and 4G LTE connectivity options, according to Times News. Volume buttons will be placed on the side of the phone, as leaked images show.

Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 will come with a 2,000mAh battery

Rumors say that the Galaxy Folder 2 will sport a 3.8-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It will run a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity could reach 16GB, and the smartphone could come with the option to expand memory to up to 200GB using a microSD card.

In addition, it seems to be running Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 right out of the box. Rear camera capacity could reach 8MP with LED flash, and the front camera could have 5MP. The smartphone will come with some standard connectivity options, as well as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS.
