Samsung is working on the upcoming Galaxy C9 and information on the smartphone has been leaking for some time now. The South Korean company has even teased the smartphone on social networking websites in China, and the phone was recently spotted on TENAA too.

Steve Hemmerstoffer spotted the Galaxy C9 on TENAA and the listing does reveal some details on the upcoming smartphone, as well as several images. The Galaxy C9 might come with a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and a fingerprint sensor.

Leaked images of the Galaxy C9 show that the smartphone uses a new antenna system with three slim lines at the top and bottom, according to SamMobile. The lines are in the same color as the rest of the device’s back. In addition, the phone has an aluminum design in golden color. The rear camera appears to have dual-tone LED flash.

The Galaxy C9 carries model number SM-C9000 and was recently spotted at the FCC, which means that it could potentially be made available in other countries as well. The smartphone was also spotted on benchmarking sites.

Samsung Galaxy C9 could feature a 16MP front camera

Rumors have it that the device might come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and up to 6GB of RAM. In addition, rear camera capacity might reach 16MP, with a 16MP sensor in the front for snapping selfies and conducting video calls. S

Battery capacity might reach 4,000mAh and the phone could have 64GB of internal memory. The Galaxy C9 could run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and it might receive an update to Android 7.0 Nougat soon after launch.

Some say the smartphone will be made available in China at the end of October and in the US in mid-November, but that remains to be seen. It’s unclear if Samsung will release the smartphone in Europe.
