14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung introduced the Galaxy C9 Pro in China back in November and the phone has been exclusive to the Mainland since then. However, news broke last month that the smartphone would eventually make its global debut at some point this year.
According to a new report, Samsung will launch the Galaxy C9 Pro in India, Malaysia and other Asian markets in the next couple of weeks.
Although this will mark the end of Chinese exclusivity, it's unclear whether or not the smartphone will be available in other regions like Europe and North America.
For the time being, we know the Galaxy C9 Pro will be available in the following countries over the coming months: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Sadly, there's no word on price yet, but it's worth noting that the Galaxy C9 Pro is now available for purchase in China for the equivalent of $470.
Customers can choose between Gold and Rose Gold colors, but a Black version might be released in the Asian countries as well.
As far as specs go, the Galaxy C9 Pro is Samsung's first smartphone to boast an impressive 16-megapixel front-facing camera that features f/1.9 aperture.
Aside from that, the smartphone packs a similar 16-megapixel camera in the back, which features f/1.9 aperture and dual-tone LED flash.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is a true phablet that sports a large 6.0-inch AMOLED display with full HD (1080p) resolution and 2.5D curved glass coating.
When it comes to hardware, Samsung's mid-range smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with an Adreno 510 graphics processing unit, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card).
The phone is powered by a large 4,000 mAh battery and ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.
