Samsung fans rejoice, as the South Korean company has plenty of devices ready to be unveiled in the next couple of weeks. The Galaxy A7 (2017) is one of the phones that leaked in the past, but has yet to be officially revealed.

The good news is we continue to receive reports about the phone's specs, and from what we've been able to notice, Samsung is determined to greatly improve its current Galaxy A series.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) is not even supposed to be the most advanced smartphone in the Galaxy A series, yet the device is said to pack an impressive 16-megapixel camera … in the front.

Two or three other smartphones, Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), and Galaxy A9 (2017), are expected to be launched by Samsung in the coming months.

The unannounced Galaxy A7 (2017), also known as Samsung SM-A720F, is rumored to boast a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, which is quite decent considering the fact that this will be a mid-range device.

IP68 certification is usually offered by Samsung's flagships

Furthermore, a new report claims Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will feature a water resistant design, which means it will be IP68 certified. On the back, the mid-range device is likely to pack a no less impressive 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture.

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is expected to come equipped with Samsung's Exynos 7880 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card).

The information hasn't been confirmed by any of the sources yet, but the phone might also come with fingerprint scanner under the Home button and USB Type-C port.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) will be powered by a large 3,600 mAh battery, but it's unclear what Android version it will run right out of the box.
