14 DAY TRIAL // We're probably days away from the reveal of the Galaxy A7 2017, Samsung's next stylish smartphone in the Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A7 won't come alone, and if you've been following our news feed, then you already know that two other handsets might be unveiled at the same time: Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 2017.
However, of the three smartphones that are expected to be announced in December, the Galaxy A7 2017 is the best when it comes to hardware.
Previous rumors indicated that the smartphone would be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7880 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card).
The good news is that some of the specs that we reported on in the past have been confirmed by what looks like an official spec table that leaked online.
The information included in the table confirms the Galaxy A7 2017 will indeed come with 32GB of storage inside and 3GB of RAM.
In addition, the smartphone will sport a large 5.7-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection.
Another strong point of the Galaxy A7 2017 would be the 16-megapixel rear-facing camera that features LED flash and f/1.9 aperture, as well as the no less impressive secondary 16-megapixel camera in the front.
Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphone will be powered by a 3,600 mAh battery and it should feature USB Type-C port, as well as dual-SIM support and fingerprint sensor.
The spec table also mentions that Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 features a water resistant design and aluminum frame, while the back side is covered by glass.
We believe the smartphone will ship with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, but there's a high chance Samsung will release an Android 7.0 Nougat update next year.
