Samsung is one of the companies that still believe in Windows 10, so the firm is now gearing up to introduce two new tablets running Microsoft’s latest operating system.

SamMobile writes that the unveiling could take place at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 (CES) in Las Vegas next month, but details regarding the two new tablets are still pretty sketchy.

According to rumors, however, one of the tablets is labeled with model number SM-W720, which means that it could be an upgraded version of the SM-W700, also known as the Galaxy TabPro. In essence, the TabPro S was developed to be a high-end Windows 10 tablet running the full version of the OS and coming with top-notch hardware, plus support for a detachable keyboard.

Samsung has even launched a Gold Edition of this particular model with a 12-inch SuperAMOLED screen, resolution of 2160x1440 pixels, 2.2GHz Intel Core M3 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and two 5-megapixel cameras.

More affordable Samsung Windows 10 tablet

The second tablet, however, is likely to be a mid-range to low-end model, as it’s referred to as SM-W620. By the looks of things, it could be a stripped-down version of the SM-W720, so it might launch with a more affordable price, but also running the full version of Windows 10 and trying to take advantage of all the features that are integrated into the operating system.

It’s not yet known if this particular tablet will also support a detachable keyboard given the smaller display, but it will still run full Windows 10 and offer support for Win32 apps.

Anything beyond that is still an enigma right now, as Samsung’s keeping all details secret, but all information is projected to be announced at the 2017 CES when the two tablets will make their official debut.

Sales will most likely begin in the spring in the United States and in the rest of the world in the next few months.
