14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung announced its latest flagship smartphones at the end of March and many US customers have already received their units pre-ordered from carriers. Now, Samsung launched pre-orders for unlocked Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones.
In the US, unlocked Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones are available for pre-order at Best Buy brick-and-mortar or online stores, as well as at Samsung.com. Samsung mentioned in its press release that both the unlocked Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ units are compatible with most US and international networks.
Unlocked variants of the two flagships will be available in Best Buy stores and online at Samsung.com starting May 31, but pre-orders are set to start today. The unlocked Galaxy S8 with 64GB of storage is available for prices starting at $724.99 at Best Buy or Samsung.com, while the Galaxy S8+ with 64GB is offered for $824.99.
Samsung offers free Netflix subscription and Entertainment Kit
Both models are available in Midnight Black color option, while pre-orders are set to start shipping on May 30. Samsung is also offering the Entertainment Kit and 6 months of free Netflix subscription for each pre-order. The Entertainment Kit consists of a Clear View Standing Cover and a 64GB Samsung EVO+ microSD card. The time-sensitive offer helps customers save up to $169.99 on accessories for the new phone.
Moreover, Samsung allows customers to trade in their old smartphone and get up to $210 credit off a new Galaxy S8 unlocked device. The company offers a trade-in value of $210 for the Galaxy S7 edge, while the lowest trade-in is provided for the Galaxy S6.
Samsung offers standard warranty for unlocked Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones, together with Samsung Premium Care which provides one-on-one, 24/7 technical support and assistance for device training. Premium Care is free for the first month, while customers would have to pay if they wish to continue benefiting from covered services. The price for Premium Care is $11.99 per month.
