Golf has had a big week, with the Saint Andrews tournament finally crowning a winner after a weekend when the action was postponed by weather, and Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is now at the top of the United Kingdom sales chart during its debut week.

The simulation from EA Sports is no longer associated with Tiger Woods and is now created using the Frostbite 3 engine, which seems to have made it popular with the community once again.

The development team has said that it plans to support Rory McIlroy PGA Tour in the long term by delivering new courses for gamers to explore without charging them any money for it.

F1 2015, the racing title from Codemasters, is in second place for the week that ended on July 18, according to UKIE, after staying in number one during the previous tracked period, and it might climb back up again in the future.

The last position on the United Kingdom podium is occupied by Batman: Arkham Knight, which has lost one place when compared to the previous seven-day period.

Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have said that they are planning to deliver an interim patch for the PC version of the title in August, with a bigger one rumored to be arriving in September, when the game will also be coming back to stores.

The best of the rest

LEGO Jurassic World, another game from Warner Bros., has also dropped one position to land in fourth, once again getting a boost from the movie with the same name.

Grand Theft Auto V, the open-world experience from Rockstar, continues to stay glued to fifth, with gamers enjoying the new upgraded rewards offered for various heists in the Online mode.

Destiny has also managed to perform well and has climbed to sixth place coming from tenth, as the Bungie team is getting ready to launch a new Taken King expansion in September.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has also improved its position to move to seventh and is followed by The Elder Scrolls Online, the MMO from ZeniMax Online and Bethesda.

Ninth has been taken over by the Remastered version of God of War III for the PlayStation 4, while the final place in the United Kingdom top ten is occupied by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
